Shannon Law Otte grew up in Greenwich and attended Greenwich Academy before studying at Dartmouth College. After graduation she worked for Susquehanna International Group as a market maker and specialist trading a variety of domestic and international derivatives on the AMEX. As market conditions shifted towards program trading, Shannon decided to make a career change and began teaching math at St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights while getting her Masters in Math Education from NYU Steinhardt. Shannon is involved in City Harvest, Robin Hood and New York Cares and is currently a member of the Compass Kids pilot program, a non-profit organization aimed at getting our children involved in philanthropy at an early age. Shannon and her husband, Ed, currently live in Greenwich with their two children.
